Laughing Out Loud

I don't even know which team won for the grey cup and I am proud of it, all the way to the bottom of the ninth??

So after hours of cell phone technicians and etc.. A simple bike mechanic fix my cell phone for free, so it is the same number. And my car, well, this Friday gets a battery and some anti-freeze so it can keep on running.

Love yah,

(Latte looks good)

Guilt Is A Great Motivator!!

Okey dokey. Here's a post. With a picture of some Latte Art!!!

Guilty...

Well I thought to check the blog today and I read Darcy's comment realizing that I haven't been using this much except for info on what's happening each Sunday night. I guess when I have time I'll post a thought or something that has intrigued me. I love the idea of this blog.
I trust everyone is doing well, and look forward to connecting with everyone soon!

Okay, I'll update

Hey everybody, Candice is right...not enough posting. I check this blog about 10 times a day, just to see who's checked in. I've put the site visit counter Paul installed up to 200 all by myself! As for me, I just post on this site for stuff that is specific to our living room church. If you want to keep up with me more generally, hit my siggy urbanite blog.

Great to hear that your settling in to your new job, Candice. Transition is a huge challenge, so be patient with yourself! If your not all unpacked by Friday, don't sweat it...

Don't forget that Sunday is Grey Cup Party time at the Dodson with Gordon, Catherine, and friends...

Darcy

What no new updates??

Well folks,

I feel like we haven't connected, maybe it is just me and my neediness, but how the donuts are you guys?? My new job is going good, lots of broken hearts around me and trying to get to know how to do stuff - - sometimes is fusterating. Still in the process of unpacking,, wow procastination just might be my middle name. Keep it real - - don't give up - - we are called here.

Be Blessed

Rememberance Day - The Plan

Hey Candice, why don't you meet us at our place at 10:30, and then we'll pick up Paul and Wanda and the McAlister's and go over to Victory Square.

Dress warm everyone! Hopefully it is not raining...

Darcy

This Sunday, Nov. 13 - the plan...

Hey everybody, here is the plan for Sunday. We will meet at our place. Reuben and Connie will be in Whistler, but we have special guests with us this week - Aileen's sister Ardis and her niece Janelle.

As for discussion, have you had a chance to think through the money thing? Bring your thoughts and scriptures...

Candice, you are in charge of desert!

Darcy

Rememberance Day

Hey,

Should I meet you guys at 10:30 before going to the ceremony at 11? I just don't know where it is?

My Moving Day

Hello,

I have just spoken with my gracious and God given landlord and I will pay homage to the Rental Society on Saturday the 12th at ten am. "Lord I pray you will stir of my circumstances in the direction that you want me to go; because all I have is theories and appearances. And when you show me my path, may I be obedient until the day you call me Home.

Notes from "the Green Man"

Here’s some notes from Sunday night to keep it fresh in our hearts. Feel free to add in a point that was meaningful to you if I missed it.

What Is Faith?          Hebrews 11:1

Faith is the confident assurance of what we hope is going to happen.

1. Faith is an attitude.
    - it responds readily to what God says
    - faith can be refused or received

2. Faith is an action.      James 2:17-18
    - it is not passive
    - Faith in action provokes God to action.
    - How many people are waiting for our obedience?
    - We have to continue in faith. (don’t quit)  Hebrews 6:11

3. Faith is an agreement.      Matthew 18:19
    - it is active     2 Corinthians 1:20
    - the power of the Law of Agreement

4. Faith is assurance.
    - True faith does not allow doubt to achieve it’s objective.
    - True faith sabotages doubt.      Romans 4:19-21
